We bring the pantry to the people — rotating through Chester, York, and Lancaster counties so rural neighbors without reliable transportation still get groceries.
Many households in our three-county service area live miles from the nearest grocery store or standing pantry. Without a car, a bus route, or a neighbor free to drive, a food shortage becomes a logistics problem as much as a money problem.
Our Mobile Food Pantry rolls into church lots, community centers, and town greens on a published schedule. Guests walk or catch a short ride — not a cross-county trip — and leave with bags of groceries they can carry home.
Each stop is staffed by volunteers who know the route and often know the faces. That consistency builds trust: people return because they know the truck will be there, rain or shine.
On the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, our team loads refrigerated and dry goods at 669 Charity Road, then deploys to a rotating location across Chester, York, and Lancaster counties. Program Director Sandra Johnson sets the route calendar; Volunteer Coordinator Linda Parker manages site crews.
A typical day serves 60–80 households with a mix of produce, protein, dairy, and pantry staples. Guests choose items when possible so bags reflect real household needs — not a one-size-fits-all crate.
Executive Director Antonio Davidson works with partner churches and civic groups to secure parking, shade, and outreach so new neighbors know when the pantry arrives.
Your gift fills the truck, fuels the route, and keeps rural and under-served neighbors from choosing between a long drive and an empty shelf.

I don't have a car that runs right. When the mobile pantry comes to our lot, I can walk there with my grandkids and still get home with bags full.
Prefer not to give online? Here are four other ways to fund the mobile pantry.
