Holiday Meal Boxes restore something simple and powerful: the chance to cook a traditional dinner at home, share it with family, and feel part of the season rather than left out of it.
In the weeks before Thanksgiving and Christmas, volunteers assemble Holiday Meal Boxes at 669 Charity Road. Each box includes a turkey or equivalent protein, classic sides, dessert ingredients, and a short cooking card so first-time cooks can succeed.
Program Director Sandra Johnson coordinates frozen and refrigerated inventory; Volunteer Coordinator Linda Parker runs packing shifts that draw churches, schools, and civic groups. Distribution is scheduled for maximum dignity — pre-registration when possible, walk-up help when needed.
Executive Director Antonio Davidson works with local grocers and donors to lock in turkey pricing early so every pledged box is delivered as promised.
